Aliran highlighted a newsclip from The Star on a demonstration led by UMNO Youth Chief Khairy Jamaluddin condemning the United States and Israel. This illegal demonstration was held during the ASEAN Ministerial Meetings.

US and Israeli flags were burnt outside the venue and banners screaming "Stop Israel Invasion", "Jahanam USA! Jahanam Israel! Selamatkan Palestin!", (Go To Hell USA! Go To Hell Israel! Save Palestine), "Is a teardrop of Israel more valuable than a blooddrop of Lebanese" were displayed.

One wonders where were the tear gas and water cannons then? A classic case of hypocrisy.
